I have been attending Northampton Futures events for the last 9 months and out of all the networking events available this is the one I enjoy the most. The idea of a network where young(ish) business people and professionals can get together on a relaxed and informal basis has definitely filled a void. At the same time I have met some useful contacts and already been able to build some good working relationships.

 

Michael and the committee always put the effort in to make sure that the events are a success and I am sure as the network expands this will continue.

 

The website is improving all the time and I have certainly found it useful to add blogs from my own website and to keep in touch with other members. The less said about the photos the better though!

 

 Keep it up.

I joined Northampton Futures after meeting Michael at another networking event (one of the old-style, formulaic ones!). As I live and work in Leicester I'm glad to see the network expanding this way and very much looking forward to the launch (over 100 guests at time of writing).

 

These events provide a great way to meet fellow professionals in a relaxed atmosphere and the website is a useful way of staying in touch. Since joining I've made many friends, learned a lot more about gambling and even won a bottle of champagne! Although the events are fun and friendly the business contacts have come naturally through meeting new people and getting to know them first and foremost without the pressure of formal networking.

 

Long may it continue to thrive and expand!
